This creates suspense for the audience, because there is a tensions about what is going to happen next. Setting: The setting is a laboratory. It gives the theme of science-fiction and it also in a dark lighting which helps portray the theme. Props: The character frantically pushes the lift button. It makes the scene feel tense, and makes the viewer question if he will escape in time. Actor placement/ Movement/ Expression: The character is running away from a dangerous creature. He seems nervous and scared standing in the lift alone hoping the creature won't follow him.
