1) Pick three camera shots from the Doctor Who scene, take a screenshot and explain what type of shot it is and what meanings or effect they have on the audience. Medium Close Up shows the character lifting up a passport. The shot shows the character might be looking for someone making the audience curious. The two shot shows the two characters in the scene looking into the camera. It shows that they are currently listening to some one on the screen. The three shot shows three different characters. Stranger Things Ext: Costume: The character at the start is wearing a white lab coat. This suggests to the audience that they are a scientist. Lighting: The lighting is dark and flashing. This creates suspense for the audience, because there is a tensions about what is going to happen next. Setting: The setting is a laboratory. It gives the theme of science-fiction and it also in a dark lighting which helps portray the theme. Props: The character frantically pushes the lift button. It makes the scene feel tense, and makes the viewer question if he will escape in time. Actor placement/ Movement/ Expression: The character is running away from a dangerous creature.
